Technitium MAC Address Changer v6 Update Released

An update for Technitium MAC Address Changer v6 is now available via built-in Automatic Update feature. The software will check for update automatically as per a fixed schedule. If you want the update before the automatic update triggers, just start the software, click on Help > Check For Software Updates menu to get it done instantly.

Currently, the version 6.0.0 setup is available on the website. The update for version 6.0.1, is available only through the automatic update channel. A new setup, which would include the update, will be available in coming days on the website.

The update is intended to fix a couple of bugs reported by all you guys. It also adds the missing set-first-octet-02 feature in presets and in command line options.

  1. Is there any way of exporting all the saved configuration presets from v5 to v6 ?

    1. Currently there is no way to do that. I might add an import option later on as I get time to implement it.

    1. Thanks for the feedback. There was a minor issue in previous Automatic Update code. New update will be released in a week to fix couple of issues which will fix the issue you mentioned.

Since your automatic update wont work due to the issue, you will have to download setup for the update manually and install it when released.

    1. The status "up" means that the network adapter device is enabled and "non operational" means that the network adapter is not connected to a network. It will become "operational" when you plug in a network cable or connect to a wifi network.

    2. I have a similar issue *after* I change a mac for the first time. It will work with the new mac for a short period of time, then revert to "non operational". The only way to fix this is to change the mac again, where it will again work for a short period of time before going to "non-operational". Is this a driver issue, or something with TMAC. TMAC6, Win 10/64.

    3. @Anonymous June 6, 2016 at 5:10 AM: "non-operational" status means that the network adapter is disconnected. So, in case of wifi network adapter, you are getting disconnected from the access point. It may be issue with drivers getting corrupt. If there is any unusual thing with network, then just try to reinstall the network driver to make sure that its not the case of corrupt drivers.
